Some Upcoming Events Saturday, May 12@ 7:30 P.M. Contra Dancing Join us at the very popular Second Saturday Contra Dance. No Experience necessary. Dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:00 PM. and the dance runs from 8 to 11 PM. It is fun and always a friendly crowd. The cost for the dance is $13.00. No need to RSVP, just show up. Saturday, May 19@ 4:00 PM Spaghetti Dinner Join us for an evening of spaghetti and good company at St. Francis de Sales, Abingdon. Dinner runs from 4-7 PM. Cost is $8.00 with wine and beer available for purchase. No need to RSVP, you can just show up. Contact the website if you need to get in touch with the host to sit with the group. Cox Point Park is a 25.9 acre waterfront park open to the public from dawn to dusk, year around. The park offers a family atmosphere and includes Pavilions, picnic areas, grills, playgrounds, fishing, and a boat ramp. Food will be served from Noon until 5:00 PM and includes hotdogs, hamburgers, salads, fruit, desserts, sodas, munchies, and more. Cost is $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members.
